Journal Polarforschung
The journal Polarforschung (PolF) is published by the German Society for Polar Research and the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research. The multidisciplinary journal is dedicated to contributions from all disciplines of polar research, including scientific reviews, documentation of outreach and stakeholder activities, and news from the polar community. Subscription to the journal (print version) is included in the DGP membership fee.

Editors
The journal is managed by two main editors and an editorial team:
- Senior editor: Bernhard Diekmann, Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Potsdam
- Junior editor: Lena Nicola, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Potsdam
The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange and knowledge dissemination within the international polar research community. It is available in print and digital formats, ensuring broad accessibility for researchers and the interested public.
