Our Organization & Leadership Team
The German Society for Polar Research e.V. has a history of nearly 100 years and pursues exclusively non-profit objectives, primarily fostering dialogue between research in polar and high mountain regions and society. Our organization is led by a dedicated Executive Board and advised by an internationally renowned Scientific Advisory Board. The Scientific Advisory Board also includes the speakers of the seven working groups. We emphasize interdisciplinary exchange, international collaboration, and targeted support for the next generation of scientists.
