Working Groups

A key pillar of the German Society for Polar Research are thematic working groups. They serve to exchange information on issues related to research, logistics, and coordination. They support the popular scientific communication of polar topics. The working groups organize themselves, are led by two speakers and hold working group meetings at irregular intervals. Further involvement takes place in the organization of special subject-relevant conferences and workshops.
